You can delete your Cougard account.
You can delete your account at any time.
- Go to Settings > Account from the web app, and click “Delete Account.”
- From the mobile app: Tap on your profile photo in the top right corner of the screen, then select Settings > Account and tap Delete My Account.
- On the website: Go to Settings > Account, then click Deactivate/Delete Account on this page, or visit https://www.cougardapp.com/deactivate-delete-account/. If you do not see these options when visiting https://www.cougardapp.com/deactivate-delete-account/, please try again later, as our developers often update regularly!
If you want to delete your account,
Once on the Cougard website, scroll down until you see “Delete Account.” In the bottom right corner of this page are two buttons: “Deactivate” and “Delete My Account.” Click on the one that says “Delete My Account.” This will take you to another page with a warning about what happens when an account is deleted and more information about how long it takes for all data associated with your profile (such as messages) to be removed from their servers once they’ve verified that no one else has access to them anymore.
You can close this window after reading through everything; we’ll come back later in case something goes wrong during our attempt at removing ourselves from Cougard’s service altogether!
